NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Undersigned, on behalf of the Town of Schroon,
will accept sealed bids at the Town of Schroon Town Hall, until 1:00 P.M. on September 6, 2024, to sell all rights, title and interest of the Town of Schroon in and to surplus equipment
Bids may be mailed or delivered to: Town of Schroon, 15 Leland Ave, P.O. Box 578, Schroon Lake NY 12870,
The bids shall be opened publicly and read aloud on September 6th 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Schroon Town Hall, 15 Leland Ave, Schroon Lake NY, 12870.
All bids submitted in response to this notice shall be marked “SEALED BID – BUILDING AND GROUND SURPLUS ITEMS” clearly on the outside of the envelope with the name and address of the bidder.
Building and Grounds Department Surplus items include:
Elutron Plasteel Underground Tank U.L Type II: Model-#EL1048, Year: 1999, Capacity 1,000 Gallons, Dimensions: 48”x133” in “as is-where is” condition of which is available for inspection at the Town of Schroon Highway Department, 2640 Hoffman Rd.
Regal 140K BTU Oil Furnace: Model:Hi-Boy REH-1000, Year: 2023, Burner: Beckett AFG, Minimum bid is $1,500.00, in “as is-where is” condition of which is available for inspection. Please call

The Town of Schroon reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all informalities that do not affect the validity of the bid. It is the responsibility of any prospective bidder or purchaser to investigate and ascertain the condition of the item being sold prior to the date of bidding.
