Town Board Meeting held October 4, 2006, at 3:15 p.m. at the Water tower site, Schroon Lake, New York

Present:

Supervisor:             Catherine L. Moses

Councilmen:             Roger Friedman, Donald Sage, Sharron Tyrrell, Clara Phibbs

Town Clerk:             Janice Tyrrell

Also Present:            List Attached

     The meeting was called to order at the water tower for proposed cell tower improvements.

     Clara moved a resolution to change October meeting to the 18^th, seconded unanimously.

     Cathy asked the board their opinion of poring slabs for the park benches.

     Clara stated the concern is not having a plan where these benches will be placed.

     Roger suggested that perhaps our Beautification Committee could come up with a plan for the park

benches.

     Cathy stated that we are holding off on the project until spring.

     The Board then met with a Verizon representative, and neighbor to the tower, Charles Benninger.

     The Verizon representative stated the proposals to the existing tower including installing a generator

and the placement of the generator.

     Mr. Benninger’s only concern is for a barrier for the looks, and to eliminate some of the noise.

     Verizon is to work on these issues and come back to the board with a proposal

     The meeting was adjourned at 3:45 PM.
